Devran Beach Restaurant

Devran Beach Restaurant is, as its name indicates, situated directly on the beach next to the Palm Beach Hotel in Famagusta and serves drinks and snacks all day long. There is indoor and outdoor seating so you can sip on a drink as you look out over the sand and out to the sea.

But this little seaside café has undergone extensive restoration and now has a reputation as a rather good fish restaurant rather than just a beach bar. The fish meze is an extensive spread composed of all sorts of cold starters, prawns, cuttlefish, octopus and squid, followed by a variety of grilled fish - all freshly caught - served with chips and salad. The English guests will be delighted by the battered cod and chips and locals come in the evenings to taste the different seafood dishes which change according to the catch of the day. Good value for money in an ideal location.
