Hacı'nın Yerİ Restaurant

Just outside the city walls, just off the main roundabout after the Land Gate, you will find this friendly kebab restaurant called Hacı'nın Yeri . Recommended by all the locals as one of the best places to eat kebabs, you will certainly not be disappointed. All fresh ingredients prepared daily in the ultra-clean open kitchen - lamb, chicken or mixed doner kebabs, lamb and chicken shish, spicy Adana kebabs, şeftali kebabs (those typical Cypriot tender herbed sausages), delicious traditional İskender kebab or have a blowout with a full mixed kebab. All served of course with rice, salad, chips, yoghurt and pickles. Very generous portions, consistently good at great prices.

Mehmet, who was born in London and who runs the place with his family, tells us that it is named after his father. Since 1989 the family has been serving delicous kebabs to the delight of the population of Famagusta and further afield, as people come from miles around to taste the succulent meats and grills. The success has been such that they have even opened another restaurant in Lefkoşa/Nicosia. With indoor seating for 50 covers and outside for 70, it is also the perfect venue for business events or large groups. You will enjoy the cheerful welcome and the tasty kebabs. A must-try.
