Behçet Usta

Conveniently situated on the road leading out of Famagusta towards Salamis and the ruins of the Ancient City, and just opposite the huge Eastern Mediterranean University campus, Behçet Usta is the master of kebabs, that is the literal translation of the Turkish word usta. Their slogan could be translated as "we are kebab professionals" and when you taste the succulent juicy kebabs which come straight from the open grill, you can understand why. Try the spicy Adana kebab: lamb meat, red bell peppers and tail fat hand-minced together and grilled, served with charred peppers and tomatoes. You will not regret it! Other dishes include chicken shish or chicken wings and deliciously-prepared morsels of liver on skewers.

You can lunch or have dinner here until the early hours, great for party dudes who can enjoy a great kebab until 2 in the morning! Very good value for money and substantial portions.
