Memoli Restaurant serves the traditional Turkish doner kebab, meat cooked on a vertical spit and shaved off in thin slices. If you are eating inside in the spacious dining area, you must try the İskender kebab. It is a kind of döner kebab prepared from thinly cut grilled meat or chicken basted with rich tomato sauce over pieces of pita bread and generously slathered with melted butter.

Memoli is a softly-spoken young man who rules over the kitchens without raising his voice and manages to juggle taking telephone orders, shaving off meat slices, checking plates leaving the kitchen and still finding time for a word with customers. A reputation well-deserved.
